| Anodizing ( 12' Capacity/Automatic) |
Anodize (Sulfuric Acid): Rack, Automated
MIL-A-8625, Type 2; AMS 2471, 2472; ASTM-B-580 Types B,C,D,E,F
Features:
Provides abrasion resistance and can be readily dyed to many colors and sealed with nickel acetate or water.
Coatings have .0001" to .001" thickness.
Excellent corrosion resistance.
Enhanced corrosion resistance with yellow chromate.
Super enhanced corrosion resistance with silicate sealers.
Provides excellent base for primers, bonding agents and organic coatings.
Excellent rubber bonding surface if unsealed.
Anodize Color: Clear, Black, Red, Blue, Gold, Green, and Other Upon Request

Features of Coloring:
Coloring of an anodized surface may be achieved by absorbing dyes of any color into the open pores of the anodized coating before they are closed by sealing which is part of the normal anodize process.
Some dyes provide a permanent fade resistant color for long lasting outdoor exposure in architectural applications.
Others provide an attractive sales enhancing decoration for consumer products for indoor use.
Colors many also be used for identification purposes.

Anodize Hard Coat : Rack, Automated Rack
MIL-A-8625 Type 3, AMS 2469, 2468, ASTM-B-580 Type A
Features:
Provides extreme abrasion resistance in coatings having .0005" to .002" thickness.
Provides excellent corrosion resistance.
Can be color dyed.
Can be Teflon impregnated.

| Chromic Anodizing
Features:
Utilizing a chromic acid electrolyte this form of anodizing yields the thinnest coatings, only .05 to .1.
Good choice when a part is complex & difficult to rinse.
Reduces the fatigue strength of the aluminum.

Architectural (Two Step): Black, Colors, Chromic Acid Seal
Features:
Electrolytic Anodize, often referred to as two-step or architectural anodize, creates a hard and color fast finish. After the anodize step the work is immersed in a bath containing an inorganic metal salt. Current is applied which deposits the metal salt in the base of the pores. The resulting finish ranges in color from champagne to black. This process offers color versatility and the most technically advanced coloring quality. This finish is ideal for exterior applications, including window casings, store fronts and door trim.
